BEGUM DOGAN FARALYALI

Begüm Doğan Faralyalı received her bachelor’s degree in economics and philosophy from London School of Economics (UK) and earned her MBA degree from Stanford University (USA).

She started her professional career as a consultant at Arthur Andersen NY office and moved to London Office of Monitor Group, where she worked as a consultant for restructuring European media and technology companies.

From 2004, she hold different positions at Doğan Media Group. Starting from 2007, she led the start- up process of Kanal D Romania, a national entertainment channel in Romanian which later became one of the top three channels in Romania. She became the CEO of Star TV in 2009 and became the president of Doğan TV Holding that contained two national entertainment channels, a news channel, radios, and a production company.

Begüm Doğan Faralyalı became the chairwoman of Doğan Holding in January 2012, which is a publicly traded company with a group of companies in electricity generation, petroleum products retail, industry & trade, automotive trade & marketing, finance & investment, internet & entertainment, and real estate investment. Faralyalı also the president of Doğan Yayınları, Sesa Production, Sesa Packaging and Karel.

She is on the advisory board of Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. She is the founder and active spokesperson of the “Common Values Movement” in Turkey and a voluntary ambassador for a “Values Driven Society”. She is also a board member of the trustees of World Wild Fund (WWF); the dream partner of Young Guru Academy (YGA), a non-profit organization working with young social entrepreneurs, and a member of the advisory board of UNDP İstanbul International Centre for Private Sector in Development.


HANZADE DOGAN

Hanzade Doğan Boyner is a leading figure in business world as well as a leading philanthropist. As a pioneer of e-commerce & technology businesses in Turkey, she founded Doğan Online Group with diverse portfolio of technology companies. She has led the group company Hepsiburada with subsidiary businesses to become the biggest online retailer in EMEA. As the Chairperson and leader of the Turkey’s largest technology platforms Doğan Boyner continues to lead the digital transformation of Turkey to create a significant impact on digitalization of the retail industry across the country.

Beyond her entrepreneurial accomplishments, Doğan Boyner has vast experience in leading established Turkish companies across industries. Previously, as Vice Chairperson of Doğan Holding & Doğan Media Group, she managed operations in various industries such as energy, media and trade. As Chairperson of Petrol Ofisi, she led the fuel products distribution and lubricants company where she later formed strategic partnerships for the company. Doğan Boyner currently serves also as the Chairperson of Aydın Doğan Foundation, which oversees Group’s philanthropic activities. She has established and led the award-winning government backed “Dad Send Me To School” campaign that aimed to eliminate economic and cultural barriers in young female education across Turkey. 50K scholarships were given to young girls and 33 girls’ dorms were built throughout Turkey, in line with the objectives of this nationally recognized program. Under her auspices Aydın Doğan Foundation continues to serve for the development of young girls in Turkey through various programs.

Doğan Boyner is actively involved in various non-profit, business and trade organizations. She is the founding member and Vice Chairperson of Global Relations Forum as well as a member of the Brookings Institute Board of Trustees, European Council on Foreign Relations and Turkish Industry and Business Association. Doğan Boyner is an active participant to World Economic Forum and a Committee Member of the Digital Platforms and Ecosystems Initiative.

She is a graduate of London School of Economics, has received her MBA from Columbia University where she also serves on the Columbia Business School Board of Overseers.


TOLGA BABALI

Since 2008, Tolga Babalı has held several management roles in Doğan Holding and related companies in the Doğan Group and, between August 2017 and March 2023, Mr. Babalı served as a member of the executive committee of Doğan Holding, with responsibility for financial and operational management. He continues to serve as a Managing Director of DHI Investment BV (Dutch Investment Company) and board member in a number of Doğan Group companies. He has been also a member of Hepsiburada (Nasdaq:HEPS) board of directors since May 2021.

Prior to joining the Doğan Group, Mr. Babalı worked for the Tax Inspection Board and Revenue Administration at the Ministry of Finance of Türkiye from 1998 to 2008.

Mr. Babalı holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Gazi University, Ankara, and is certified as a Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant and an Independent Auditor.”


HASAN ILKER YONEY

İlker Yöney is the CEO of Doğan Family Office, overseeing the family’s investments in Turkey and globally. Previously he was co-head of private equity for European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), managing a team of over 50 investments staff and assets under management of over EUR 5 billion. Prior to that he was the Chief Operating Officer for LBT Asset Management, Turkey’s leading distressed assets and non-performing loans investing platform, an Actera Private Equity investment originally established by Lehman Brothers. His previous roles were in asset management in International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group and in Dubai Holding, a sovereign wealth fund. He holds an MS in Finance from INSEAD, MA in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University and BS in Chemical Engineering from Boğaziçi University.
